CONTRIBUTING TO OUR COMMUNITY
Educating Young People Escaping War
When you work with us you are indirectly contributing to the education of young women and men.
We repeatedly and successfully trained young people not only free of charge but also offering them a monthly payment. In 2003 we were focused on offering this to young Iraqi women and men arriving to the country upon the Iraq war. Since 2011 we are focused on offering this to young Syrians. With every big project we actively search for those we can offer an education opportunity with us.
Involving Workshops' Owners in Jordan
To offer an income and thus, confidence in the many workshops in Jordan, we try with every project to involve as many of them as possible. We supervise their work from scratch to make sure we deliver products that fulfil our quality standards while at the same time allowing them to have an income from their own sweat.
Mother Earth
Over the last years, we became particularly conscious of our contribution to the ecological level. We started by taking action with regards to packaging, reducing our waste production while making sure your products reach you safely and in perfect condition. Moreover, we slowly started switching to machines running on green energy. Furthermore, we currently only handle wood in a manner that does not jeopardise its ecological value. Finally, we make sure to only create products that last. We acknowledge that more is still needed from our side but we are on it!
